The Home Depot announced today at CES the expansion of its Hubspace line-up of smart home IoT products, powered by Afero, with a new water timer, thermostat, chest freezer and security kit.

This is a great opportunity for consumers and their ability to use a broader range of smart home products that are smart and secure.

The new categories build on the existing Hubspace connected home program at The Home Depot, which is simple to set-up and easy to use. Hubspace provides its customers with secure onboarding in less than 60 seconds; seamless integration with Alexa, Google, and more; direct device connection to WiFi (no hub required); and an incredible range of features for users.

The Home Depot's Hubspace line-up is powered by Afero's IoT Platform as a Service, which prioritizes security, data privacy, simplicity, and ease of use throughout the entire end user experience.
